Wrap-Around Retainer

The Wrap-Around Retainer is an enhanced Hawley design with the labial bow extending further posteriorly to wrap around more tooth surfaces. This provides stronger retention — especially useful for lower arch retention.

• Extended Labial Bow — Wraps further posterior than standard Hawley • Acrylic Baseplate — Heat-cured PMMA • Adams Clasps — 0.8mm SS on first molars • Additional Wire Coverage — More tooth surface contact

By extending the labial bow further posteriorly and wrapping more tooth surfaces, the retainer provides increased retention force compared to a standard Hawley. This makes it the preferred choice for cases needing maximum retention, particularly in the lower arch.
